On Friday, May 2, the Woodland High School media center was filled with excitement and pride as senior Jaylen Warren signed his letter of intent to play basketball at Erskine College. Surrounded by friends, family, teammates, coaches, and school administrators, Jaylen marked a major milestone in his athletic and academic journey.
A key player for the Woodland Wolverines, Jaylen has built a reputation for his hard work, leadership, humility, and determination both on and off the court. His signing is the result of years of dedication to the sport and the support of those who have guided him along the way.
During the ceremony, Jaylen expressed his gratitude to his parents, coaches, and teammates, acknowledging the important roles they’ve played in helping him reach this point. True to his humble nature, he gave credit to those around him and remained focused on the team behind his success.
