Dorchester School District 4 is delighted to continue its "Everyday Hero" employee recognition program, celebrating the exceptional individuals who play crucial roles in the success of our schools. These hardworking employees often operate behind the scenes, ensuring the smooth functioning of our schools while contributing to the education and well-being of our students. Each month, we shine a spotlight on these dedicated staff members, offering our appreciation for their unwavering commitment. Every "Everyday Hero" receives a certificate of appreciation and a distinguished coin from the Superintendent, a token of the district’s deep gratitude for their remarkable service.
This month, we are honored to recognize three outstanding individuals. The second recipient is Ms. Antionette Clark, a dedicated School Counselor at Clay Hill Elementary School. Ms. Clark was nominated by Principal Alisa Lemon, who had the following to say about her:
"It is with great enthusiasm that I nominate Antionette Clark for the Everyday Hero Award. She is the heart and soul of our school, embodying the spirit of dedication, creativity, and compassion that makes a true difference in the lives of students, staff, and parents alike.
You can see her artistic touch in many of our school celebrations. Whether it’s a seasonal celebration, a motivational bulletin board, or a special event, she brings an energy that lifts everyone’s spirits.
She is the life of the party—whether organizing school-wide celebrations, staff appreciation events, or student recognition ceremonies, her enthusiasm is contagious. She has a unique ability to make every event feel special, ensuring that everyone feels valued and included.
Beyond her talent for bringing people together, her impact runs even deeper. She fosters meaningful relationships with students, providing them with guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support. Staff and parents alike rely on her wisdom, warmth, and ability to bring people together in a way that strengthens our school community.
For her boundless creativity, tireless dedication, and ability to make our school a better place every single day, I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Clark for the Everyday Hero Award. She is not just a counselor—she is a cornerstone of our school family."
Dorchester School District 4 is proud to honor Ms. Antionette Clark and celebrate her unwavering commitment to education and the community. Her exceptional service and passion make her a shining example of what it means to be an Everyday Hero.
