📚✨ Educator's Academy Monthly Session Recap ✨📚
Last Thursday, the Educator’s Academy gathered at the Dorchester County Career and Technology Center for their monthly session, thoughtfully organized by Mrs. Catherine Yates, Coordinator of Teacher Effectiveness. The focus of the session was to support our district's early career educators through meaningful connections, valuable insights, and wellness activities.
The evening included:
🍽️ A culinary experience prepared by Mr. Behr, Assistant Director of DCCTC, who also shared words of wisdom and gratitude for our educators.
🧘♂️ Yoga led by Mr. Todd Scholl (CEWL Leader Learner), emphasizing self-care, healing, and authenticity.
🎓 A presentation by Dr. Marcella Wine-Snyder (CEWL & The SCEA, Teaching and Learning Specialist/Consultant) with tips on health, nutrition, and overall well-being.
The event brought together educators and stakeholders for thoughtful conversations, shared experiences, and practical advice on nurturing their professional and personal growth.
Take a look at some of the highlights from this wonderful evening! 📸
