We are pleased to announce that the Summer Break Café Program will begin on June 3, 2026, at Woodland Middle School and June 8, 2026, for Community Sites (sites coming soon). The program will conclude on July 16, 2026. Meal service will operate Monday through Thursday, with sites closed on Fridays.

The Summer Break Café provides nutritious meals to children ages 1–18, and up to age 21 for individuals with special needs. Please note that this program is strictly for children; meals are not available for adults.

Individuals interested in working with the Summer Break Café are encouraged to complete an online application for their desired position. For additional information, please contact Ms. Thompson, Summer Feeding Coordinator, at (843) 636-4022. We are currently hiring for the following positions:

• Site Supervisors

• Site Monitors

• Meal Preparation Staff

• Delivery Personnel

If your community is in need of a feeding site, please do not hesitate to reach out. To qualify, a site must be located in an eligible facility such as a church, community center, apartment complex, common area, or park. Please note that daycares and private residences are not eligible. All sites must have appropriate storage, refrigeration, sanitation, and waste disposal capabilities.
