Updated July 2, 2020

Please find the updated parent survey below.

This survey is student specific and asks parents
to pick a learning model
as we move
into the 2020-2021 school year.

Dorchester School District Four will have
three learning pathways
for parents and students to choose from. These options give parents and students the opportunity to register for the educational programming that works best for their unique needs. Once a selection is made based on the unique needs of your child, any requests for changes will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Traditional Learning Model (in person)
Students participating in the traditional learning model will receive face-to-face instruction in the classroom setting. They will attend school on a regular schedule Monday-Thursday. If the school district is directed to close down completely, students will transition to either the Hybrid Learning Model or the Virtual Learning Model.

Hybrid Learning Model (online)
Students will participate in live learning experiences with direct instruction from DD4 teachers. Students will access learning through live virtual meetings according to the fixed traditional schedule of their school in an online classroom setting Monday-Thursday. Students will be able to interact daily with their peers and their teachers. This option is teacher-directed and internet connectivity is required. *

Virtual Learning Model (online)
Students who enroll in the DD4 virtual school will access learning through the DD4 Learning Management System and will follow the schedule based on their individual coursework. This learning option is self-paced and internet connectivity is required.

Dorchester School District Four Food Service Department will provide breakfast and lunch for all students, beginning Monday, June 8,2020, - Friday, July 31, 2020. Meals can be picked up between the hours of 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM at the below locations.
