My name is Mrs. Pearson and I am excited to teach 6th Grade English Language Arts here at St. George Middle School.  I live in Colleton County with my husband, also a teacher,  and our three children.  I love spending time with my family, reading, and going to the beach.  Some of my favorite book series include: Twilight Saga, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Divergent.  

I graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in English in 2004.  I also earned my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.  My love of history led me to earn National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Social Studies.  I have taught students in grades 5 through 12 in the subjects of English Language Arts and History.  I was selected as Rookie of the Year my first year teaching (17 years ago) in Colleton and also Teacher of the Year of Colleton Middle School.
